Casa Zuniga is more than a place to stay — it’s a home built by hand, heart, and heritage.
In 2005, my parents, Rick and Carmen Zuniga, returned to Mexico with a dream and a deep love for Guanajuato. With their own hands and a lot of faith, they built this home into what would become Casa Zuniga, a family-run bed and breakfast perched above the city’s winding streets. My father poured his love for the city into every stone, and my mother’s roots run deep — her family has lived in Guanajuato for generations.

Today, three generations of our family live and work here, keeping their legacy alive. Every room holds a story. Every breakfast is served with the same care they began with. And every guest who arrives becomes part of this ongoing love letter to Guanajuato.

Casa Zuniga is now a reimagined bed & breakfast — an intentional guesthouse blending warm hospitality, curated meals, and restorative spa rituals. Alongside our family-style breakfasts, we offer restorative experiences, including herbal foot rituals, intuitive bodywork, and rejuvenating yoga facials. We call these offerings our Remedios — gentle rituals to nourish body, spirit, and soul.
